Because VectorPad is small thin light weight, We can assemble it in a wireless remote controller and a portable device by a free design easily. In addition, VectorPad can be connected to every CPU because it is designed low power-consumption as for the unit, and the connection adopts general purpose interface. »About VectorPad
VectorPad is a capacitance-type force sensor. Depending on the power that pushed the sensor, the output changes. It is not need the point zero calibration and very small and can suppress the non-sensing zone of the sensor, by an original touch detection technique. Four steps of sensitivity adjustment are possible by the register setting of the IC and can perform further sensitivity revision by software. In addition, as a capacitance-type characteristic, there is little consumption electricity.

»About IC
This is IC that detects variation of analog data, and then it is converted to the digital signal. It senses analog data every 3 msec, and convert to 10 bit digital data. By an original circuitry, we realized super low power consumption.
